2020 HSBC SYDNEY 7s ON SALE NOW!
The non-stop action and entertainment of the HSBC Sydney 7s continues in 2020 with tickets now on sale for the iconic tournament that lights up Sydney’s summer with a multicultural festival of Rugby from February 1-2.
Teams from all over the world will descend on Bankwest Stadium, Parramatta to battle it out in the annual integrated HSBC Men’s and Women’s Sevens World Series tournaments.
The event will be condensed into a two-day Sevens fiesta in 2020, to jam-pack the action and provide even more value for money for fans!
In a massive year for Rugby Sevens, both Qantas Australian teams will be looking to secure valuable World Series points as well as continue their preparation for the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Bankwest Stadium will have all the fan favourites that attendees have come to know and love over the last five years, with some and new exciting developments along the way.
The precinct will be transformed into a Rugby festival with live bands, rides, interactive entertainment, the kids zone, and plenty of places to eat and drink, coupled with the best Rugby Sevens athletes from across the world.
In stadia fan-favourites that have become synonymous with the HSBC Sydney 7s will return with Dance Cam, Kiss Cam, The Gun show, and Karaoke all to feature again in the 2020 edition. There will also be some new additions and surprises to be announced over the coming months.
Rugby Australia Chief Executive Raelene Castle said: “The HSBC Sydney 7s will celebrate its fifth birthday in 2020 and shows no signs of slowing down.
“Moving the tournament to Bankwest Stadium will bring the fans right on top of the action and, as always, the Stadium precinct will be buzzing with music and activity for everyone to enjoy in between the action on the field.
“Rugby Australia is very proud of pioneering the integrated men’s and women’s HSBC Sevens World Series event and with a condensed two-day format we expect to expect to see thousands of fans from across the country, the Pacific, and all parts of the globe, converge on the world-class Bankwest Stadium on the first weekend in February
