HSBC LONDON SEVENS POOLS & SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED
England have been drawn in Pool C for the HSBC London Sevens which takes place on 2-3 June 2018 at Twickenham Stadium
Simon Amor’s men will face France, the United States and Kenya on day one in a pool that’s identical to the one that England topped in Singapore.
The recent Singapore and Commonwealth Games bronze medallists will take to the hallowed turf at Twickenham Stadium for the penultimate leg of this season’s HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series before they begin preparations for the Rugby World Cup Sevens in San Francisco in July.
This year’s HSBC London Sevens will bring together some of the world’s greatest rugby sevens players and thousands of fans from across the world to celebrate all that this great sport has to offer.
Alongside the fast and furious rugby sevens, Twickenham Stadium will come alive with the sound of live music and DJs and the smell of some of the best street food that London has to offer.
“For all of us in the England squad, the London leg of the series is always special,” said all-time leading rugby sevens try scorer Dan Norton. “It is a great experience for both the players and the fans.
“As with all the tournaments staged in the UK, the fans really get involved and that gives us a real lift. We get the home changing room to ourselves, which is a nice touch, and you are always aware of the great names that have graced the Twickenham pitch.
“There is a real feel-good factor around sevens and there is such a buzz at all of the World Series tournaments.”
Ticket prices start from £20 for adults and children’s tickets are just £10.
