SARU calls for proposals on production and distribution of Test match programmes
The South African Rugby Union (SARU) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) from potential service providers and specialist companies for the production and distribution of Test match programmes and other ad hoc publications for the 2013 international season.
The Springboks will play three Test matches in the Castle Lager Incoming Series and three further internationals in The Castle Lager Rugby Championship in August, September and October.
The RFP is the result of the change in the Test-hosting model, which now places all responsibility in SARU’s hands. “We hope to provide a world class product to match the prestige of the occasion and one that becomes a sought-after memento of a Springbok test match,” said Jurie Roux, CEO of SARU.
The scope of activity includes all aspects from initial design and concept, sourcing and creation of content, printing, sales and distribution.
The full details of the Request for Proposals (RFP) are available at www.sarugby.co.za under the “About Us” tab.
