Ackerman Forced To Make Late Changes To Golden Lions
ACKERMANN FORCED TO MAKE LATE CHANGES
MTN Golden Lions head coach Johan Ackermann was forced to make several late changes to his side that will face DHL Western Province in tomorrow’s Vodacom Cup semi-final.
Jaco Kriel is the first late withdrawal. Kriel has not recovered timeously from a knee injury he sustained in last weekend’s Vodacom Cup quarter-final against the Sharks XV.
As a result, Warwick Tecklenburg will shift to replace Kriel at 6. Tecklenburg is replaced by Willie Britz, who shifts into the starting line-up. Gavin Annandale moves onto the bench.
Secondly, Julian Redelinghuys has sustained a tear to his calf and has been replaced by Ruan Dreyer, who switches to tighthead. Jacques van Rooyen will subsequently start at loosehead and is replaced by Van Zyl Botha on the wood.
The new side is as follows:

3. Ruan Dreyer
4. Hendrik Roodt
5. Hugo Kloppers
6. Warwick Tecklenburg
7. Willie Britz
