Jarrad Hoeata of the Highlanders received a Yellow Card in the Super Rugby match between the Highlanders and Crusaders on 29th June 2013. Hoeata has now received 3 Yellow Cards in the 2013 Super Rugby Tournament. Pursuant to Rule 6.1 of the SANZAR Judicial Rules, Hoeata is to appear before the Duty Judicial Officer appointed for the match in which he last offended during.

 

The player’s offences are to be considered in the first instance by SANZAR Duty Judicial Officer Jannie Lubbe SC.

 

All SANZAR disciplinary matters are in the first instance referred to a Duty Judicial Officer hearing to provide the option of expediting the judicial process.

 

For a matter to be dispensed with at this hearing, the person appearing must plead guilty and accept the penalty offered by the DJO.
