DHL WP Vodacom Cup team for friendly announced
Newly appointed head coach of the DHL WP Vodacom Cup side, John Dobson, today announced his team to play the DHL WP Amateur side at Newlands on Saturday 5 February. Kick off is at 14h45 and the game is a curtain raiser match to the main game between the DHL Stormers and the Sharks in the final fixture of the Neo Africa Tri-Series. Kick-off for the main game is at 17h05.
Said Dobson, “This weekend is great for WP Rugby. We will virtually have all the Union´s contracted players in action. The enlarged DHL Stormers squad to play the Sharks, the DHL WP Vodacom Cup side and the 19 players we have released to our three Varsities taking part in their exciting tournament. We are really anxious to see those trophies housed in the Western Cape and think it is great that our young professionals enlarge their worlds by experiencing some great student rugby.”
