After their memorable win over St Andrew’s last weekend, Kingswood face another big test when they travel to Uitenhage to play Brandwag in a shortened Eastern Province schools rugby programme on Saturday (June 20).

The Grahamstown side recorded only their second win over St Andrew’s in 22 years on Saturday and will be looking to wrap up a good period against the top Uitenhage school.

Brandwag defeated St Andrew’s 25-20 in their opening fixture of the season and those results suggest it should be a tight contest in Uitenhage.

Graeme, who have won four of their last five matches, are prepared for a good challenge in Graaff-Reinet against Union High, who are fresh from a convincing 45-10 win over Victoria Park.

In the only other match of the weekend, the Grey High second team will play Muir 1st at Grey.

Grey and Graeme will round off the first part of the EP schools season when they clash at Grey on Wednesday (June 24).

The fixtures are (home teams first):

Saturday: Union High v Graeme (13.15), Grey High 2nd v Muir 1st 11.30, Brandwag v Kingswood (12.20)

Wednesday (June 24): Grey High v Graeme (15.30)
