Mfundo Ndhlovu from the Pumas was the Coca-Cola Hero of the day for day 1 of the 2014 U18 Coca-Cola Craven Week.
Mfundo scored a try when his team, playing against Western Province, was under huge pressure. The Pumas had already seen two yellow cards after Christiaan Schuld received a yellow card in the 19th minute and Adriaan Bester received a yellow card in the 27thminute. The team had faced attack after attack from Western Province and had watched 21 points being scored whilst a man down. This did not stop Mfundo from looking for opportunities and in the 34th minute, Mfundo, received the ball on the Western province 10 meter line and run through the Western Province defence to score in the corner.
