One of the key forwards for the St Johns Rams, but also for Zimbabwe under 18. He is the go to guy when the team is in need of go forward ball. When the team needs that extra bit of inspiration he one of the first on call.  Aiden Burnett is a ball wrecking loose forward who is all about going forward. An inspiration to junior players and a talisman for his team. The youngster will look to leave a mark on the annual school boy tournament in the week ahead of us. Benedict Chanakira managed to have a chat with Aiden briefly!

Hi, how are you?

I am well, thanks.

What is your earliest rugby memory?

I went to Gateway Junior school. I was introduced to the game in grade 3 and will forever remember that day.

Your rugby hero growing up was?

It was my brother Nick Burnett. He managed to grace Craven week a few years ago. He will always be an inspiration to me.

What are your future aspirations?

I would love to play club rugby in the United Kingdom. I want to become a professional rugby player.

Who is your favourite player?

Richie McCaw, the New Zealand captain.

What has it been like playing for the St Johns Rams?

Since I was in Form 1(Standard 7), I have always wanted to play for the Rams. It is an absolute honour and privilege.

Who will you be supporting at the Rugby World Cup?

New Zealand All Blacks

What was your best game in 2015?

In the preseason we managed to play against arch rivals St Georges and managed to win 17-10 in front of a large crowd at Prince Edward.

You are part of the Zimbabwe Craven week side. What are your expectations at the tournament?

We aim to win all three of our games and to make our country proud. We are confident that it is possible and we will look to give our best.

What TV series are you currently watching?

Two and a half men.

Who has been your toughest opponent this season?

Falcon College
