Club Rugby: Villagers v Hamiltons
It was the Derby between the oldest clubs in the country on a day where the thermometer only just missed the 40 degrees in Cape Town.
The first half played out very even as the half time score suggests at 10-10.
The second half was a one sided affair, when the veteran Clinton Van Rensburg came off the bench for Hamiltons and took total control of the game. Hamiltons also dominated the breakdowns with Solly Tybilika and ex SA sevens player Bennie Adams playing some brilian rugby.
It is awesome to see some ex provincial and national players giving it their all at club level and trying to keep the most important level of rugby[club] alive with interest and quality!
Final score:
FINAL SCORE:HAMILTONS 39 VILLAGERS 13.
Till the next time from a warm and humid Cape Town!!
Rugga Greetings
Mike
