Steval Pumas give back
MBOMBELA – The Steval Pumas know the value of community involvement. That is why the team, in conjunction with some of their sponsors and partners invested in a water project to assist in the areas in the country where water is desperately needed.
The team’s water sponsor Aqua Tiqua, together with I’langa mall and Skankane Transport immediately joined the initiative and together they sponsored 1 875 litres of water (a total of 375 5 litres bottles) which will be transported to Johannesburg, where Skankane Transport will assist in distributing the water to the needed areas.
“It’s always nice to receive something you didn’t pay for, but the privilege and pride to give when someone is in need, is so much bigger. Therefore, we as a Union challenge all other rugby unions in the country to do the same. Every drop of water you can give will make a difference in someone’s life. Let’s stand together to assist our fans who always back us, even when times are tough,” Coach MJ Mentz said.
