VODACOM BULLS GET THEIR PINK ON #GetYourPinkOn
31 March 2016 – Loftus is going PINK this Saturday. And Vodacom, proud sponsor of the Vodacom Bulls, is going All Out Pink!
In Vodacom Bulls country it may be blue but for one day pink will be the colour of passion as the Pretoria side run onto the field in aid of the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA).
The Vodacom Bulls will look pretty good in pink as they take on the Toyota Cheetahs in their Vodacom Super Rugby match at Loftus Versfeld on April 2.
When supporters enter Fortress Loftus they will know that pink is not even a question but a call to action to join the fight against cancer.
The Vodacom Bulls first donned the pink jersey in 2012 to show their support to CANSA and people embroiled in a battle against cancer.
This year extra focus will be placed on breast cancer awareness while the team will be aiming to raise R500 000 that will go towards the purchase of a Mobile Testing Unit.
Loftus Versfeld will be draped in pink while the players will take to the field in their specially designed pink kit.
The Vodacom Bulls will also make a contribution towards the mobile unit as 23 limited edition match day jerseys will be going up for auction with the proceeds going towards the CANSA Foundation.
CANSA has made it its mission to fight against cancer in South Africa and is a non-profit organisation that enables research, educates the public and provides support to all people affected by cancer.
The Mobile Health Clinic would be able to do cancer screening and early detection programs while it would provide cancer education and provide information to help reduce cancer risk.
While the players do their bit on the field, the mobile health clinic is also in action at the stadium to create awareness while sharing breast cancer educational material to reduce the cancer risk.
Blue-blooded supporters are encouraged to also get their pink on for the match as the whole Vodacom Bulls family unite behind a single cause.
Supporters can get involved in the #GetYourPinkOn campaign and can make a contribution via the SMS line or they can go tohttp://www.getyourpinkon.co.zafor other methods of payment.
SMS “PINK” to 42336 and donate R30 towards this initiative.
Join Vodacom in the fight against cancer and #GetYourPinkOn
Power to Pink
