Mahuza names in Lions side to play the Bulls
The Golden Lions Rugby Union is proud to announce that Sylvian Mahuza has joined the union and will be available with immediate effect.
Mahuza joins the Lions from the NWU-Puk where he was instrumental in the side reaching the Varsity Cup final and ultimately taking the title home.
“I don’t have words the describe how I feel. I am just so thankful for the opportunity to join the Lions. I will make the most of this chance that has come my way. I just have to mention the NWU-Puk as they were the cornerstone of my career up to now. I didn’t have any resources to build a future and the Puk made everything possible. They developed me and gave me the skills that I currently have,” Mahuza said.
Mahuza will start for the Lions at fullback against the Blue Bulls in the Currie Cup Qualifying round at Alberton Rugby Club on Saturday.
