Ticket for Springboks’ June Tests now available
· Tickets start from low as R75 in PE to watch Springboks at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium
· Cheapest tickets in Cape Town and Johannesburg only R100
· Boks tackle Ireland in South Africa for the first time since 2004
From only R75 in Port Elizabeth and R100 in Cape Town and Johannesburg respectively, Springbok fans will be able to book their seat to watch the men in Green and Gold in action against Ireland next month. Tickets for the Castle Lager Incoming Series Test Series in June have already opened in Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth, while sales in Cape Town is due to open at midday on Thursday, 12 May.
The Springboks will be up against a strong Irish team that has won two of the last three RBS Six Nations titles under coach Joe Schmidt. The Springboks will kick off a new era under recently appointed Bok coach Allister Coetzee, on 11 June at DHL Newlands in Cape Town.
The second Test will be played at Emirates Airline Park in Johannesburg a week later on 18 June, with the final match scheduled for the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth on 25 June. It will be Ireland’s first visit to South Africa in 12 years.
And to add to the occasion, the South Africans will play in their change strip of white and green as a courtesy to the Irish team, who plays in an emerald green jersey.
SA Rugby CEO, Jurie Roux, urged rugby fans to move fast to secure their tickets to watch the Springboks in action.
“From as little as R75 to R100, rugby fans will be able to see the Springboks in action against a very good Ireland side,” said Roux.
“The Springboks represent the very best South African rugby has to offer. It is the beginning of an exciting new era for the team under the guidance of Allister Coetzee and I know Bok fans are excited to see their team in action on home turf again.”
