After eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Springboks, members of the public will have a chance to see the team up close at an open training session at Mbombela Stadium which is free for members of the public on Monday.

This is the perfect opportunity to get an insight into coach Allister Coetzee and his side’s preparations ahead of the much-anticipated Castle Lager Rugby Championship opener against Argentina on Saturday, 20 August.
All members of the public are welcome to attend the training session, which starts at 15h00. Afterwards, spectators will be able to meet the players and get autographs during a dedicated signing session. Members of the public will also be treated to a free Springbok branded T-shirt on arrival (but these are limited so first come first serve) .
The Springboks will be playing in Nelspruit for only the third time. The previous two matches, against Scotland in 2013 and Wales in 2014, were both wins for the men in green and gold, a trend which the side will look to continue against the South Americans.
“The Mpumalanga Rugby Union (MRU) is proud to present the first encounter of the 2016 Castle Lager Rugby Championship. We are confident that the day will be enjoyable, colourful and that the rugby on display will be fair, uncompromising and of such a high quality that all the rugby world will be talking about this match and this venue. May the best team win,” said MRU President Hein Mentz.
Remember to get your tickets for this epic clash on computicket.com or at any Computicket outlet. Prices range from R100 up to R500. In addition to parking at the stadium, there will be 9 park-and-ride venues available throughout Nelspruit. For enquiries, email george@pumas.co.za or call 013 757 4606.
