Emirates Lions team announcement vs Waraths Sat 4 March 15:05
The Emirates Lions host the Waratahs at Emirates Airline Park in the Vodacom Super Rugby this weekend and shows three changes with Harold Vorster, Ross Cronjé and Robbie Coetzee in the starting line-up.
Vorster is in for Howard Mnisi who injured his knee in the first round clash against the Toyota Cheetahs in Bloemfontein last weekend. Mnisi will go under the knife next week after the swelling has subsided.
Dylan Smith has recovered from his shoulder injury and comes in on the bench, as does Sylvian Mahuza.
Please note that Stokkies Hanekom will join the Southern Kings on a loan basis while Koch Marx joined Griquas, also on loan.
- Ross Cronje will reach a great milestone this weekend, by playing his 50th Super Rugby game for the LIONS.
