Wales Women have made four changes for their final Women’s Six Nations match this Saturday in France (20:00 GMT).

Head coach Rowland Phillips brings scrum half Sian Moore, wing Jasmine Joyce, centre Gemma Rowland and fullback Elinor Snowsill into his starting line-up for the visit to the Stade Amédée Domenech in Brive.

After a much-improved performance in a narrow defeat to Ireland last weekend, Wales are aiming to go one better against France, who lie in third place in the competition table.

“There are only small parts of our game that need improving, so we didn’t want to make any drastic changes to the side,” said Phillips. “The players showed the right amount of attitude and desire last Saturday in Cardiff, which we want them to carry into this weekend’s game.”

Twelve members of the matchday squad – including seven of the starting team – featured in this fixture last year, which Wales won 10-8 at the Gnoll.

“It’s been a difficult campaign for this squad in more ways than one,” Phillips said, “but I know we’ll be stronger for it as we enter the next phase of preparation for this summer’s World Cup.”

Fullback Dyddgu Hywel and wing Elen Evans are unavailable this weekend due to injuries sustained in the match against Ireland.

This match will be available to view on the official Women’s Six Nations Facebook page and YouTube channel.
