Lions face Pumas in SRC opener
The Xerox Golden Lions side to take on the Steval Pumas in their first game of the Supersport Rugby Challenge in KaNyamazane in Nelspruit will be led by number eight Jano Venter.
The side boasts some players with Super Rugby experience in (Lions caps in brackets) Marvin Orie (1), Fabian Booysen (2), Pieter Scholtz (2), Shaun Reynolds (1), Ashlon Davids (1) and Sti Sithole (1).
The side is coached by Bafana Nhleko, Herkie Kruger, and Wessel Roux.
