Team Announcement: Toyota Cheetahs vs Highlanders
Toyota Cheetahs takes on Highlanders
The Toyota Cheetahs are ready to take on the Highlanders on Friday evening at 19:00 in a Vodacom Super Rugby match at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.
Changes to the team from the last match against the Crusaders:
- Carl Wegner moves to no. 4 locks and Francois Uys will be starting on 5 locks. Armandt Koster will be providing cover on the bench.
- Paul Schoeman will be starting on the left flank and Uzair Cassiem moves to reserve.
- Henco Venter will be starting in the number eight jersey.
- Tian Meyer and Shaun Venter swaps places with Meyer in the starting line-up. Tian will be running onto the field in his 50th Vodacom Super Rugby match of which 38 were for the Toyota Cheetahs.
- Fred Zeilinga is back on flyhalf with Neil Marias providing cover on the bench.
- William Small-Smith will be replacing the injured Nico Lee on inside centre.
“I still believe that the growth of this side is immense. To have a team play against the best every week is the only way to get better. We are a good team with ball in hand and we want to play best to our strengths” said coach Franco Smith.

Entertainment
The Toyota Cheetahs invites supporters to enjoy a fun-filled day at Toyota Stadium with a new braai facility with Sparta at the Castle Deck area and the enlarged family-friendly alcohol-free area. Andriette Norman will be providing entertainment on the Castle Deck after the match.
Ticket prices: Main Stand – R80 for adults and R30 for kids. Open Stand – R60 for adults and R20 for kids and students.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.fscheetahs.co.za or at the Ticket office at Gate 8 (Att Horak Avenue) at Toyota Stadium.
Gates open at 17:00.
