There are four changes to the DHL Western Province forward pack for the SuperSport Rugby Challenge clash with Boland at DHL Newlands on Saturday.

DHL Western Province will be looking to make it three consecutive wins this season when they host neighbours Boland, in a match that kicks off at 12h15 on Saturday and will be played as a curtain-raiser to the DHL Stormers’ encounter with the Vodacom Bulls at DHL Newlands.

Dan du Plessis will make his first start of the campaign at inside centre, with Joshua Stander shifting across to play at flyhalf in the only changes to the backline.

In the forward pack, hooker Chad Solomon and prop Neethling Fouche feature in the front row, with Ernst van Rhyn back at lock and Steph de Wit on the flank in place of the injured Jaco Coetzee.

DHL Western Province Head Coach John Dobson said that his players are looking forward to playing at DHL Newlands.

“Playing at DHL Newlands is always special, so our players are keen to make the most of the opportunity this weekend.

“We are expecting Boland to be highly motivated, so we will have to be as accurate as possible and rise to the challenge,” he said.
