Currie Cup promotion-relegation: Team Announcement
Coach Franco Smith has announced the strongest possible team to defend the Toyota Free State Cheetahs’ Currie Cup status in the Currie Cup promotion-relegation match against the SWD Eagles on Tuesday, 30 October. Kick-off in Toyota Stadium is at 18:00 with a live broadcast on SuperSport 1.
Currie Cup is very important for Free State Rugby. The Toyota Cheetahs had a very tough task to compete in two difficult competitions at the same time. Free State Rugby looks forward to the unique opportunity. The goal is to warm the Cheetah supporters’ hearts with free flowing open rugby that the Toyota Cheetahs are known for.
The Toyota Free State Cheetahs call on all fans to support the Toyota Cheetahs now more than ever by being in the stadium.
All suite- and season tickets will be valid for the Currie Cup promotion-relegation match on 30 October. Stand tickets are R10 a ticket.
For this match only, the white 23-players’ jerseys can be won in a lucky draw by 23 lucky supporters.
Announcements during the game and at halftime will inform supporters of the progress of the draw.
