Australia Tour 2022 – fixtures confirmed
England will travel to Australia this summer to play the Wallabies in a trio of Test matches.
The first game will take place at the Optus Stadium, Perth on Saturday 2 July.
The two sides will then travel to Brisbane to play at the Suncorp Stadium on Saturday 9 July. The final match will be played at Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney on Saturday 16 July.
England last toured Australia in 2016 and won all three matches.
Eddie Jones’ side most recently played the Wallabies in the 2021 Autumn Nations Series, where they won 32-15 at Twickenham Stadium.
Jones said: “Eddie Jones said: “The Australia tour is a great opportunity for growth for this team and a good challenge at the end of the season.
“It will be the first time many of the younger players have toured abroad with England and it will be vital practice and experience ahead of the World Cup, along with the 2023 Guinness Six Nations.
“We last went there in 2016 and had a very successful tour.
“Australia will be a good challenge for this team. They have rebuilt strongly and they are well-coached by Dave Rennie.
“We’re looking forward to getting out there and continuing the development and journey of this England side.”
Before the Australia tour, England will also face the Barbarians at Twickenham Stadium on Sunday 19 June (3pm BST KO).
Tickets for England v Barbarian FC are on sale now from £25 for adults and £12 for under 16s. Group packages are also available on adult tickets and all tickets can be purchased via the England Rugby website.
