The Steinlager Series is officially sold out with rugby fans taking up the final few tickets at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin and Sky Stadium in Wellington where the All Blacks will play Ireland in the second and third Tests respectively.

“It’s pretty inspiring to see the support we have got across Aotearoa,” All Blacks captain Sam Cane said after playing in front of a capacity crowd of 48,300 fans at Eden Park in Auckland. “When you see and hear all those people in the stands it gives the lads a massive lift. Thanks to everyone who came out in Auckland and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone in Dunedin and Wellington.”

The Steinlager Series continues under the roof at Forsyth Barr Stadium on Saturday 9 July where crowd of 28,500 will be in attendance and culminates at Wellington’s Sky Stadium where additional seating will take the capacity to 37,500 on Saturday 16 July.

New Zealand Rugby General Manager Professional Rugby & Performance Chris Lendrum said:

“The support of the New Zealand rugby public has been incredible and created a buzz across the country. There was an electric atmosphere at Eden Park for the first Test and the fans of both teams contributed to what was a thrilling contest. We are looking forward to the rest of the series and there is no doubt the quality and intensity of the rugby on the pitch will be enhanced by the passion of fans in the stands.”
