Adendorff leads Vodacom Blue Bulls to Mauritius
Former Blitzbok Shaun Adendorff will lead the Vodacom Blue Bulls to the Beachcomber World Club 10s, to be played from 15-17 June in Mauritius, while JC Pretorius, a member of the SA Rugby Sevens Academy, will also feature.
Jamba Ulengo, capped for the Springboks and the Blitzboks, has also been included and named vice-captain of the team.
The Vodacom Blue Bulls are the defending champions for this world event, organized by Carinat Sports Marketing, and will feature some of the best sides in the world from the North and South Hemisphere.
Hayden Groepes Vodacom Bulls Super Rugby backline coach, will take up the reins as head coach for the tournament.
He congratulated all selected. “Congratulations on your selection and for those missing out – we value your contribution immensely and appreciate everyone’s effort. I firmly believe that we have the squad to defend our title, and am looking forward to showing the world just what this exciting group can do.
Congratulations also to our captain, Shaun Adendorff. He’s tenacious ‘hond’ attitude on the field, and loveable nature off the field, will contribute immensely to his set of leadership skills, especially during a tournament like this.”
