All Blacks ring the changes.
Morgan Piek – All Blacks coach, Graham Henry selected just four players from the All Blacks side that beat the Wallabies two weeks ago will run out to face the underperforming Springboks at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Port Elizabeth Saturday evening.
Captain Keven Mealamu, Ali Williams, Jerome Kaino and Hosea Gear are all that remain of the side that thrashed the Wallabies for the Bledisloe Cup at Eden Park in Auckland.
Tony Woodcock and John Afoa join Mealamu in the front row; Sam Whitelock partners Williams while Kaino links up with Adam Thomson and Liam Messam in the loose.
With Dan Carter being rested and Piri Weepu warming the bench, Jimmy Cowan and Colin Slade will run the show at the scrumhalf and flyhalf. Sonny Bill Williams and Richard Kahui will pair up in the midfield. Hosea Gear links up with Isaia Toeava on the wing and Israel Dagg will be the tail to balance out a formidable back three.
