All Blacks Sevens advance to Rugby World Cup Sevens semi finals
The All Blacks Sevens have secured a nail-biting quarter final victory over France at the Rugby World Cup Sevens in San Francisco.
Three first half yellow cards saw the All Blacks Sevens playing with only six men for the majority of the half and trailing 7-0 at the break.
Two tries in the second spell to Kurt Baker and Joe Ravouvou were enough to seal the 12-7 victory and secure a semi final berth.
The win sets up an enthralling semi final encounter against Fiji, who progressed with a dominant 43-7 win over Argentina. South Africa meet England in the other championship semi final.
The All Blacks Sevens will face Fiji at 1.02pm Sunday (8.02am Monday NZT).
