All Blacks v France sales booming for Eden Park match
Tickets for the eagerly awaited All Blacks v France Test match atEdenParkon June 8 are storming along in the first week of sale with more than 27,000 tickets already scooped up.
Auckland Rugby Marketing Manager Grant McKenzie said the interest in this Test is well ahead of early sales figures for the Irish Test last year and he thinks the reason is clear.
“In just a few days more than half the tickets have gone but perhaps that’s not too surprising. It’s a pretty fresh memory for many of us; that intense All Black vFranceencounter in the World Cup final. This time, it’ll be one team determined to do it again, while the other will be determined to make sure they don’t. This is the stuff great Test matches are made of,” said McKenzie
Tickets to the Steinlager Series opener at EdenParkare available from just $20 for children and $50 for adults. Go to www.ticketmaster.co.nz or 0800 111 999.
But we won’t be finished with the French just yet. Three days later it will be the Blues’ turn to take on Les Bleus in the adidas Challenge at North Harbour Stadium.
“This is going to be a great occasion for the Blues and our supporters. The early kick-off time (7pm) makes this match family-friendly and we’ve committed to retain our competitive Super Rugby ticket prices, so kids can sit anywhere in the ground for just $5 and adults seats start at $25,” said Blues CEO, Andy Dalton.
Tickets for Blues v Francego on sale next Monday (April 22) through Ticketmaster. Visit www.theblues.co.nz for further details.
