Anthony Watson to play for England Saxons
ANTHONY WATSON (Bath Rugby) will join up with the England Saxons tomorrow ahead of their game against 02 Ireland Wolfhounds at Kingsholm on Saturday (5pm, live on Sky Sports HD1).
Watson, who will train with the Senior squad at Pennyhill Park on Thursday morning, will be in the 23 against the Wolfhounds.
England Head Coach Stuart Lancaster said: “We want to give Anthony some senior international experience and more game time on the wing. The match against the Wolfhounds is a good opportunity for him. He’s been great in training this week and to test himself against a quality Irish team will be another step up for him.”
The Saxons team will be announced at 9am via electronic release on Thursday.
