Benetton Rugby team to face Leinster Rugby
Benetton Rugby will begin the new Guinness PRO14 season on Saturday evening. The opponent of the white and green Lions will be Leinster.
The match will start at 18.15 local time (17.15 UK time) and will be refereed by Welsh referee Ben Whitehouse and his assistants Gianluca Gnecchi and Gwyn Morris.
There are five debuts in the squad chosen by the Benetton Rugby technical staff.
Full back will be Angelo Esposito, on the wings are Ratuva Tavuyara and Monty Ioane. Captain Alberto Sgarbi and Joaquin Riera will be right and left centre respectively.
The half backs are Luca Petrozzi at scrum half and Ian Keatley at fly-half.
The front row will consist of Derrick Appiah, Tomas Baravalle and Michele Mancini Parri.
Locks will be Irné Herbst and Eli Snyman. Finally, the back row sees Marco Lazzaroni, Marco Barbini and Toa Halafihi completing the XV chosen by Crowley.
