Blitzbokke cruise through the Cup quarters
South Africa cruised through to the semi-final of the Cup after defeating England 31 – 7.
England were physical and had a good start going ahead 7 -0 after 2 min.
South Africa absorbed the pressure and created a number of opportunities which they managed to turn into points. The Blitzbokke run in 5 well worked tries from their six visits to England’s 22. This was made possible because of the high work rate by Kwagga Smith and Werner Kok.
The home side were brilliant in defence managing to shut down the English attack.
The Blitzbokke were just too strong were to strong for England in the end.
The defending Champs will take on Australia in the semi-final, a repeat of the final in Dubai. Kick-off is at 16h39 CAT
