The Blue Bulls App powered by Vodacom has been launched to bring fans a touch and a swipe closer to one of South Africa’s leading rugby teams.
Fans that claim their blood is blue can now FanUp and download the App for up-to-date news and game-time functionality.
Downloading the App, Vodacom Bulls fans will have access to the real time match centre which includes commentary, match-day statistics and player bios.
Game day will never be the same as the count-down clock and score updates will reflect the state of play.
The blow-by-blow commentary, vital statistics such as possession, territory and a breakdown of the scoring give Vodacom Bulls supporters great insight into what is happening between the four lines.
The App is designed to add value to the fans’ experience of the game and the team they love with unique video content, while there is also useful information regarding parking on game day and places in and around Loftus Versfeld.
To see how the teams match up, the team sheets for the two starting XV’s on the day will be available including player listings with complete breakdown of each player with their bio and stats.
The Vodacom Blue Bulls is not merely a team, it is a home to the extended family of supporters.
The FanZone on the App will further encourage interaction between supporters with the social media feed presenting the latest posts from the Official Blue Bulls accounts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
As the Vodacom Bulls embark on the crucial Australasian leg of their 2015 Vodacom SupeRugby campaign, Vodacom has once again sent three Huawei Ascend Mate7 phones on tour with the squad.
The Vodacom TourPhone will see players and coaching staff capture behind-the-scenes videos and photos of their shenanigans on their travels including some selfies and groufies.
Three lucky supporters stand a chance to win one of these phones loaded with exclusive content after the tour.
During the four-week tour, supporters need to follow @huaweisa and @vodacomrugga and join the weekly conversation using #takemeontour to stand a chance of winning one of the three phones.
Players will share the funny moments and what they get up to as they traverse the antipodes from Auckland and Rotoroa in New Zealand before they cross the ditch to Australia for stops in Canberra and Melbourne.
