There is increased pressure on players, especially at school level, to perform at their best. Following a well balanced diet is critical to a young player’s success and career longevity.

This year, Blue Bulls Rugby Union (BBRU) and FutureLife continue to partner in various rugby development projects. This partnership aims to inform school and club rugby players, of the importance in achieving balanced nutrition and entrenching healthy eating habits.

Qualified FutureLife dieticians will be visiting schools and clubs in the Greater Tshwane region, educating players on the importance of balanced nutrition, and helping them incorporate this into their daily diets.  Rugby coaches will also receive nutritional training to further enhance player support.
