Blues chairman Greg Muir resigns
Blues chairman Greg Muir has announced today he will stand down from his position on the board.
“I have other business matters that need resolving and in discussions with the Auckland board, consider it appropriate for me to stand down at this time,” said Mr Muir today.
Auckland Rugby chairman Glenn Wahlstrom has accepted Mr Muir’s resignation as one of two Auckland Rugby representatives on the Blues board and is effective immediately.
“Greg has given many years of outstanding service to both Auckland Rugby and the Blues and we thank him for his significant contribution.”
Mr Muir’s replacement will be a priority for both boards to resolve forthwith.
