Buildcorp NRC Round 7 Preview
The final round of the 2016 Buildcorp NRC is Pacific Island Round, celebrating the tremendous contribution of the Pacific Island Community to Australian Rugby. Round 7 kicks off in Sydney’s West at Concord Oval where the Western Sydney Rams will use the Fiji Day Celebrations at the ground to make their final charge for the top four when they play the wounded NSW Country Eagles. The Eagles will be bolstered by the return of the NSW Waratahs’ flier, Andrew Kellaway from injury.
The UC Vikings, caught in a dogfight to return to the top four have called on 72 Wallabies Test capped veteran, Ben Alexander for when they play the in-form Perth Spirit. In the other must win clash for the Melbourne Rising, they take on the second placed, Sydney Rays who will be looking to confirm a home Semi Final next week. In the Queensland derby, Brisbane City have made six changes to the side that lost in the west last week with Adam Korczyk getting his first start for the season.
