Cambridge to host England Counties Under 20s international
CAMBRIDGE will host the England Counties Under 20s’ international against Georgia Under 20s at their Volac Park headquarters on May 24 (2pm).
Georgia Under 20s will also play a development match at a venue to be confirmed on May 21 before they head to Cambridge. Georgia’s short tour to England is a return visit following England Counties Under 20s successful visit there last summer which included victories over a Georgia Under 20 Select XV (16-14) and Georgia Under 20s (25-13) both in Tblisi. Selection for this season England Counties Under 20s squad will take place after the annual Divisional Festival at Welbeck Defence Sixth Form College in Leicestershire over the Easter weekend. Squads from the four divisions are in the process of being finalised after an exhaustive selection process which began back in November with the opening round of matches in the National Under 20 Shield and continued after Christmas with the start of the National Under 20 Championship which has now reached the semi-final stage. |
