Celebrate Heritage Day at the Springbok Experience
The Springbok Experience in the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town will celebrate National Heritage Day – and the rugby museum’s fourth birthday – by handing out 200 boerewors rolls on Monday, 25 September.
As Heritage Day falls on Sunday, 24 September, the next day is a public holiday, and what better way to spend this free time than visiting one of Cape Town’s foremost tourist attractions.
The first 200 people who purchase tickets on Monday, 25 September, will each receive a free boerewors roll. As part of the celebrations, South African rugby personalities, such as former Springboks and current referees, will also visit the Springbok Experience on the day, between 11h00 and 12h30.
There will also be exciting giveaways during the day, where visitors to the museum can win SA Rugby Annuals, official rugby law books and other items.
Another exciting addition to the offering at the Springbok Experience, is free birthday entry for local citizens. Simply visit the museum with your South African ID on the day of your birthday, and you will be granted free access. Should your birthday fall on a day when the Springbok Experience is closed, free access will be granted on the day after your birthday.
