Due to forecast bad weather the All Blacks Sevens v Black Ferns Sevens Survivor Challenge scheduled for Midland Park at 12.30pm today, Wednesday 25 January, is being moved to an indoor venue in the North City Shopping Centre in Porirua.

CHANGE OF VENUE DETAILS

Where: North City Shopping Centre, 2 Titahi Bay Rd, Porirua. The event will be held under the escalators on the ground floor of the shopping centre. To access the shopping centre turn right at the first roundabout off the motorway then left at the second roundabout into the mall carpark. When: 1.00pm – 1.30pm

Who: All Blacks Sevens v Black Ferns Sevens

The All Blacks Sevens will take on the Black Ferns Sevens in a series of quintessential HSBC Wellington Sevens tournament challenges. The teams will battle it out for the title of Sevens Survivor Champions in costume making, dancing, stadium food making and bringing the loudest noise.

The All Blacks Sevens will be represented by Wellington Sevens stalwart DJ Forbes, Isaac Te Tamaki and tournament rookies Trael Joass and Tone Ng Shiu. The Rio Olympic silver medal winning Black Ferns Sevens will be represented by Michaela Blyde, Gayle Broughton, Stacey Waaka and Tyla Nathan-Wong.

DETAILS OF ALL BLACK SEVENS WEDNESDAY POST-TRAINING PRESS CONFERENCE

Where: Porirua Park, Mungavin Ave, Porirua

When: 10.30-11.15am

What: Training will be open to a limited vision of the team warm down. This will be followed by a media stand up with Assistant Coach Tomasi Cama and All Blacks Sevens player Sherwin Stowers.
