Numerous changes have been made from last week’s team with six players from the bench moving onto the starting line-up.

  • Oupa Mohoje is on his way back home.  He suffers from a groin injury he gained during last Saturday’s match against the Crusaders.  He is expected to be out of action for 8 – 12 weeks.  Tienie Burger will be joining the team on tour.

  • Springboks Willie le Roux and Coenie Oosthuizen are being rested as per agreement with SA Rugby.

  • Francois Venter is being rested.

  • Joe Pietersen will be standing in for Sarel Pretorius as vice-captain for the match.  Pretorius will be joining the team on Sunday in Sydney after the birth of his second son on Tuesday.  Shaun Venter will be returning back South Africa after Saturday’s encounter.
