Rugby bonus for supporters in Toyota Stadium
Rugby supporters can look forward to a big rugby festival the next two weeks in Bloemfontein!
On Friday, 22 September two big matches will be played in Toyota-stadium. The day kicks-off with the Currie Cup clash between the Toyota Free State Cheetahs and the Pumas at 17:30 followed by the Guinness PRO14 match where the Toyota Cheetahs will be taking on Leinster at 20:00. Zak Steyn will be providing entertainment at the Castle Deck between the two matches and after the Leinster game.
A week later, on Friday, 29 September the Toyota Cheetahs will be playing in another Guinness PRO14 game, this time against Ospreys from Wales.
Biggest rugby promotion ever!
With a Test ticket for Saturday, 30 September, supporters will get free access to all three these matches. This includes matches against the Pumas, Leinster and Ospreys and of obviously the Test between the Springboks and the Wallabies. Al they have to do to get a free ticket is to show their Test ticket at the ticket office.
Supporters who attend both the Currie Cup and Guinness PRO14 matches on Friday, 22 September, stand a chance of winning one of six Test tickets. Remember Test tickets are only available from the ticket office in Toyota Stadium or online at www.fscheetahs.co.za
Coach Rory Duncan has announced his team for Friday’s encounter against Leinster. Springbok Sevens’ star, Rosco Specman will be making his return after an injury, sending Luther Obi to the bench while scrum halves Tian Meyer and Shaun Venter will be switching places with Meyer in the starting line-up. Charles Marais will be starting on loose head prop with Ox Nche providing cover on the bench.
Springbok Oupa Mohoje has recovered from an injury and will be starting on number eight, sending Junior Pokomela to the bench.
The referee for the match is Mike Adamson. He will be assisted by Joy Neville and Claudio Blessano. The TMO is Kevin Beggs.
The following players are not eligible for team selection due to injury:
Elandre Huggett (knee), Neil Jordaan (ankle and knee), Steven Meiring (appendix), Gerhard Olivier (ankle), Clinton Swart (knee), Ruan van Rensburg (knee), Fred Zeilinga (hip), Niel Marais (shoulder).
