Chiefs announce team for Super Rugby Final
The Chiefs have announced their team to play the Sharks in the Investec Super Rugby final this Saturday night at Waikato Stadium.
Chiefs coach Dave Rennie has decided to stick with the same side that won last weeks semi final match against the Crusaders. Co-captain Craig Clarke has been cleared to play in the history making event.
Hamilton has embraced their first Investec Super Rugby final by running several events to celebrate the big occasion.
On Saturday in Garden Place between 3-5pm, MORE FM will host family-friendly pre-game activities including face painting, kid’s rugby, Mexican wave challenges with spot prizes galore. The Investec Super Rugby trophy will be available for photo opportunities. There will also be a best dressed fan competition with match day tickets to give away.
A one-way fan trail from Garden Place in Hamilton to Waikato Stadium with guides and free entertainment will be operating on Saturday night from 5pm to the game. Guides will be highly visible wearing their five foot high balloon back packs. For more information visit www.whatsonhamilton.co.nz
For those who missed out on tickets head to the Hood St precinct in Hamilton to enjoy the game on the big screen.
Four free buses will be running to Waikato Stadium. The first two will start at 6pm and run every 15minutes, from Hood Stwhere they will drop fans off outside Domino’s on Mill St. Two more buses will start running at 6.30pm.
