Convincing win for Reds over Force
Brisbane, Australia – The Queensland Reds ran in seven tries to beat fellow Australian side Western Force 50-10 in Super 14 rugby on Sunday.
Anthony Faingaa, Scott Higginbotham and Digby Ioane crossed twice each as Queensland won back-to-back Super matches for the first time since 2006 and their 40-point win was their biggest ever, surpassing a 51-13 win in 1996.
The winless and last-placed Force are the only team in the tournament without a competition point after four matches, failing to score more than four tries in any match or to lose by fewer than seven points. – Sapa-AP
