Crusaders team to play the Hurricanes
The Crusaders head to Wellington tomorrow for a clash against the top-of-the-table Hurricanes on Saturday night. Head Coach Todd Blackadder has made just two changes to the starting line-up that beat the Blues last weekend.
Matt Todd will start at 7 this week, after Richie McCaw was ruled out following a head knock in the game against the Blues. That sees Luke Whitelock come onto the bench as loose forward cover.
Halfback Andy Ellis steps back into the starting line-up with Mitchell Drummond moving to the reserves.
The game will mark an impressive milestone for prop Wyatt Crockett, as he brings up his 150th game for the Crusaders. Blackadder said the team will be keen to make this a game to remember for their good mate: “This is a remarkable achievement for any player and Crocky deserves every accolade he gets on this special occasion. He is the ultimate team man and a true Crusaders legend. We all love him for his positivity, wit and loyalty and we are looking forward to honouring the big man on Saturday night.”
