The MTN Golden Lions, after a nail-biting semi-final match against DHL Western Province, have qualified for the 2011 Absa Currie Cup Final which will take place at Coca-Cola Park on Saturday, 29 October 2011. This will be the first home final the Lions have played in since 2002 and the first final they’ve competed in since 2007.

Tickets for Season Ticket and Half Year Ticket holders will go on sale on Monday, 24 October 2011 and tickets will cost just R100.00 each. These tickets can only be purchased from the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office up until 4pm on Tuesday, 25 October.

Prices for the various areas in the stadium have been announced and are:

West Lower: R250.00
West Upper: R200.00
East Lower: R200.00
East Upper: R175.00
East Upper Corners: R100.00
North Lower: R150.00
South Lower: R150.00
North Upper: R100.00
Scholars behind the poles (North and South Lower): R50.00
Family Ticket (East Lower): R200.00 (includes two adult and two children tickets)

Tickets will go on sale to the public on Monday, 24 October from the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office and from 12pm from Computicket. Scholar and Family Tickets are limited and expected to sell out within hours, so those who wish to purchase tickets will need to act fast.

Wicount is running a special where you can purchase tickets on the North Upper Stand for just R50. Vouchers need to be redeemed from the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office before 4pm on Friday, 28 October 2011. Visit www.wicount.co.za for more information.

Parking tickets for the final are available from Computicket and the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office and start at R100.00 each. There are various parking areas situated around the stadium.

Park & Ride will be running from Cresta and East Rand Mall shopping centres and tickets will cost R60.00 per person.

The match will kick off at 5:30pm and two exciting matches will be played before the main game kicks off. At 12:30pm, watch the U/19 MTN Golden Lions take on the Blue Bulls in the U/19 Absa Currie Cup Final, and at 2:30pm the U/21 Bulls and Sharks will take to the field for the U/21 Absa Currie Cup Final. The gates will open at 11am.
