DHL Western Province have been boosted by the inclusion of four players with Vodacom Super Rugby experience for the SuperSport Rugby Challenge semifinal against Tafel Lager Griquas at KaNyamazane Stadium near Nelspruit on Sunday.

Wing Craig Barry, centre EW Viljoen, prop Neethling Fouche and hooker Chad Solomon all come into the starting line-up for the semifinal which kicks off at 12h30 on Sunday, as DHL Western Province look to book a place in the SuperSport Rugby Challenge Final.

The only other change to the starting line-up sees Brendon Esterhuizen at openside flank, while the only new face among the replacements is fit-again scrumhalf Godlen Masimla.

DHL Western Province Head Coach Jerome Paarwater said that his team will need to deliver an accurate performance to book their place in the final.

“It is knock-out rugby so we know that we will have to be at our best to win and the players will definitely be giving it their all.

“The experienced players coming in give us a boost as they have all been in our system for a long time and understand our game,” he said.
