The Eastern Province Vodacom Cup players took a scrappy win over Despatch at the Despatch Rugby Club this evening, winning the game 21 to 5.

Head coach David Maidza said overall the game had been poor.

“We gave away too many penalties, especially in the breakdown,” he said.

Maidza said players did not hold onto the ball long enough, which resulted in them missing opportunities.
