World Sports Betting, SA’s Leading Online Sportsbook have announced the signing of Lions
Rugby Company as their official sports betting partner for the next 3 years.
This sponsorship will be for all international and local tournaments and comes shortly after
their 2017 acquisition of the Headline Sponsor of the now World Sports Betting Cape Cobras.
Speaking about the newest sponsorship, Ryno du Plessis, National Marketing Manager of
World Sports Betting pointed out the brand’s complete passion to support local teams and

brand”.  Du Plessis also expressed his and his team’s dedication to inject more excitement
into the Lions supporters in-stadium and promises some amazing promotions and activations
over the next three years.
Warren Tannous, finding CEO of World Sports Betting and more so a passionate supporter
of Lions Rugby called the sponsorship a “highlight” to the company’s year and future.
