EMIRATES LIONS VS DHL STORMERS
Springbok wing Ruan Combrinck returns to action this weekend when the Emirates Lions take on the DHL Stormers at Emirates Airline Park.
Combrinck picked up the injury while on duty for his Japanese club Kintetsu Liners and was forced to return back to South Africa. He makes his return ten days before the Emirates Lions depart on their tour to Australasia.
In the only other change to the starting line-up Marvin Orie returns to the starting line-up and on the bench Johannes Jonker comes in for Jacobie Adriaanse.
The Emirates Lions have a bye next week and will leave South African shores on 17 April. Their fixtures for the overseas leg of their campaign are:
20 April: vs Waratahs (Sydney)
28 April: vs Reds (Brisbane)
5 May: vs Hurricanes (Wellington)
12 May: vs Highlanders (Dunedin)
Their first game back is on 19 May when they host the Brumbies.
* April is Autism Awareness month and the Emirates Lions will proudly be wearing blue wristbands in support of the Foundation, the teams’ preferred charity.
