England Under 20 name side for title decider in Brighton
ENGLAND Under 20 have named their side to take on France in their final game of the Six Nations on Friday at Brighton & Hove Albion’s Amex Stadium (kick off 7.55pm, live on Sky Sports). France currently lead the Six Nations table, ahead on points difference by one, but a win for England will see them take the title for the fourth time in five years. England have made two changes from the side that beat Scotland 26-11 with Tom Fowlie and Charlie Beckett both coming into the side. Head Coach Jon Callard said: “It’s been a great effort by the players as they’ve had to cope with different combinations through injuries and club call ups. To be in this position at the end of the championship is a credit to them. “Irrespective of the result it will be disappointing if we can’t put a performance together in front of what will be a bumper ground. We’re at the half way stage of our season with the World Rugby Under 20 Championship coming up in June and we’re mindful that the programme is about developing and helping individuals to go on and play for their club sides and ultimately the England senior side. Matches like this, in this environment with this intensity will do them no harm for their futures.” Forwards coach Ian Peel added: “We’ve had a good week of training, the facilities have been outstanding and we can’t wait to get out there. We needed to take a look at a few things after the Scotland game, we had a good win but there were some work-ons. “We came into camp on Monday and put things right. Training has been good, we have looked at France and how we’re going to play against them. The fact that the title is on the line doesn’t change anything for us. We’re process focused and performance driven – if we get things right then we’ll get the result. “A few guys have played in front of big crowds, but as a group this will be the biggest crowd we’ll have played in front of and it’s great to bring the game to Brighton.” England Under 20 starting XV against France 15 Aaron Morris (Saracens) 1 Sebastian Adeniran-Olule (Harlequins) Replacements: 16 Jack Innard (Exeter Chiefs) England U20 Six Nations fixtures Wales U20 21-15 England U20 England U20 61-0 Italy U20 Ireland U20 14-19 England U20 England U20 26-11 Scotland U20 England U20 v France U20
