EP RUGBY GRAND CHALLENGE WRAP FROM JULY 4
Gardens and Spring Rose, among the top four teams in the EP Grand Challenge competition, both suffered setbacks in their league games on Saturday (July 4).
African Bombers broke out of their slump of eight straight defeats when they beat Gardens 22-17 in Zwide, while Spring Rose went down to a high-riding Park side 17-3 at the New Brighton Oval.
The weekend’s results were: African Bombers bt Gardens 22-17, Park bt Spring Rose 17-3, Trying Stars bt Harlequins 18-17, Kruisfontein bt Brumbies 34-32. Not played: PE SAPS v Crusaders, Progress v Windvogel.
