Free State Rugby and Bloem Show signed this week a collaboration agreement for the fifth consecutive year.

Free State Rugby will offer a free Bloem Show tickets to all their paid Season Ticket holders this year. In addition, the two entities will take hands to promote each other’s events, to the benefit of Bloemfontein.
“Bloem show and FS Rugby events both attract people to the City of Roses. It is time that local businesses take hands and assist in the success of every event, hosted in Bloemfontein. The economic injection in Bloemfontein is to the benefit of all, and Bloem Show is proud to be part of this initiative, ”said Elmarie Prinsloo, CEO of Bloem Show.

It is the fifth year that Free State Rugby and Bloem Show will be taking hands in marketing and promotional initiatives. “It is a privilege for Free State Rugby to take hands with such a big role player in the economy,” said Mr Harold Verster, MD of the Free State Cheetahs (Pty) Ltd.

After returning from a three week tour to Ireland and Wales, the Toyota Cheetahs have six Guinness PRO14 home games left for the 2019/20 season.

The next match in Toyota Stadium is on Saturday, 21 March when the Toyota Cheetahs take on the unbeaten Leinster side followed by Edinburgh a week later on the 28th of March. Easter weekend will be filled with action when the Toyota Cheetahs face Ospreys on Saturday, 11 April.

During the period that Bloem Show is taking place; the Toyota Cheetahs will be hosting Zebre from Italy on Saturday, 25 April. Toyota Cheetah supporters will see the Toyota Cheetahs take on Dragons on Saturday, 9 May and Benetton the following week on Saturday, 16 May in Toyota Stadium.

Supporters can be expect great entertainment after matches at the Castle Deck with Appel (21 March), Juan Boucher (28 March), Demi Lee Moore (11 April), Francois Bouwer (25 April), Rushour (9 May) and Franja du Plessis (16 May). Tickets are available online at www.cheetahs.rugby

Bloem Show is one of only two shows in South Africa that still successfully combine agricultural, entertainment and trade activities in one event, and attracts more than 100 000 people over 9 days every year.
This year Bloem Show will present 23 regional, provincial, national and international Livestock Championships, with more than 5000 animals will be gathered at Bloem Show during the 9-day event.

More than 350 indoor and outdoor exhibitors will create a shopping experience to visitors. The 35 food stalls and 11 liquor-selling outlets will give the opportunity to relax and spend time with family and friends.
Quality entertainment will be part of the Bloem Show programme this year, including a variety of 11 national artists and 12 entertainment events created by Bloem Show.

Bloem Show is taking place from Friday 24 April until Saturday 2 May in Bloemfontein and ties in nicely with the Guinness PRO14 match between the Toyota Cheetahs and Zebre on Saturday, 25 April at 16:00 at the Free State Rugby Stadium.
